Android App Inventor Bootcamp

After the initial giggle at the irony of an android app workshop being held in a mac lab we managed to focus on the glimpses of the projector screen amongst the mac screens.

This half day workshop taught us to build test your own Android applications using Android App Inventor! In this hands-on workshop, attendees  constructed a working knowledge of the possibilities for App Inventor for teaching problem solving skills and computational thinking as well as introducing students to object-oriented programming.
