One of our fathers recently told me about KINSA, a Canadian organisation whose Mission & Vision is Find,Rescue, Heal.
49,000 unidentified children need your help. These are children in our own neighbourhoods, across the country, and around the world – victims of sexual abuse whose images are shared on the Internet. Kinsa - the Kids' Internet Safety Alliance - works with Canadian law enforcement and other partners to deliver training and build capacity among police in developing nations to help them find and rescue child victims of abuse whose images are shared on the Internet.
Kinsa has produced a great video for parents new to social networking which can be seen on this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lMgzjVlwoI
